Kai Madison Trump is the oldest of Donald Trump’s ten grandchildren and the first child of his father, Donald Trump Jr., and his former wife, Vanessa.
She was born in New York on May 12, 2007, and was named after her Danish jazz musician maternal grandpa, Kai Ewans.
According to the account, Kai, like a genuine Trump, arrived two weeks early because he was anxious to greet the world after Vanessa went into labor during a charity benefit in the city.
Her weight was six pounds and fourteen ounces.
Donald Trump Jr. was all smiles as he spoke to People magazine from the hospital, saying, ”Everyone’s great.”
Regarding Donald Trump, he was becoming more receptive to the notion of becoming a grandfather.
”It’s not something I had necessarily in mind, but it feels very nice,” he told New York Post after the news of Kai’s arrival broke.

“The media makes my grandpa seem like a different person. But I know him for who he is. He is very caring and loving. He truly wants the best for this country. And he will fight every single day to make America great again,” she said.
In her first-ever speech, Kai also shared that the the president-elect is ”just a normal grandpa.” ”He gives us candy and soda when our parents aren’t looking,” the teen revealed.
Kai also mentioned that her grandfather always checks in on how his grandkids are ”doing in school.” She recalled, ”When I made the high honor roll, he printed it out to show his friends how proud he was of me.”
Although Kai later acknowledged that she was really nervous, many people thought she created a very impressive and natural impression throughout her speech.
”There were a lot more people than I expected, for sure. I didn’t think it was going to be that much,” she confessed in an interview with Grant Horvat.
Kai’s reaction to grandpa being shot
Donald and Kai have a very close relationship, and their time at the RNC was one of their most poignant times together.
For Kai, giving her speech was a very intimate and impactful experience that went way beyond a simple public gathering.
”It was really special for both of us,” Kai shared, reflecting on the moment.
”It was right after he was shot, and it was the first time I’d seen him since. That was really special. Like, we got a little teary-eyed both of us. I’ll never forget that,” Kai said.
Shares the love of golf
There is no denying Kai Trump’s passion for golf, and it appears she is carrying on her father’s legacy.
Kai, who moved to South Florida when she was thirteen, settled well at The Benjamin School in North Palm Beach.
Famous players like Greg Norman and Jack Nicklaus have sent their children to this institution, which is renowned for generating some golf royalty. In addition, Tiger Woods’ son Charlie Woods plays golf at the school and was a freshman on the varsity team that won a state championship.

She gave her fans even more thrilling news in August 2024 when the 17-year-old declared her commitment to the University of Miami women’s golf team.
“I am beyond excited to announce my verbal commitment to the University of Miami,” Kai wrote in the caption. “I would like to thank my mom, Vanessa, and my dad, Don, for always supporting me through my journey. I would also like to thank my great team for getting me to this point.”
In her tweet, Kai also made sure to thank her grandfather, Donald Trump.

Intense battles with grandpa
It’s obvious that Kai Trump and her grandfather spend a lot of time on the golf course.
There are numerous pictures of the two of them laughing and swinging clubs on the green on her Instagram. What’s actually happening on those fairways, though?
Kai claims that when it’s her against Grandpa, things get really heated. She made a joke about how competitive it is when they play together in an interview with YouTuber Grant Horvat in July.
“It’s a stiff competition,” she said with a grin, hinting that Donald Trump isn’t exactly the type to let his grandkid win, even if she is family!
”Genuinely, he always gives me a run for my money. It’s pretty close,” she said.
”It’s never really like game over, and I’ve won on the 15th hole. He wins a lot of the time. I do have to say that. I’ve got to get better.”

Kai participated in a stroke play golf match at Trump National in Jupiter, Florida, in the video featuring Grant Horvat.
Naturally, a lot of people were interested in learning what she would disclose about her well-known grandfather, but what truly grabbed notice was how sincere and grounded Kai comes across.
